name: Amie
gender: female
birthday: 9-12-80, I'm 25
location: hot old Texas
occupation: Being RJ's Mom
hobbies: knitting, reading, skinning, cleaning, playing with my hermit crabs and doggies
likes: spending time with my hubby, having a clean house, our '04 competition orange Mustang (it's not really pink, I recolored it to match the pink and brown plaid background I made), hermit crabs, my 2 shih tzu girls, hibiscus flowers, reading, knitting, quiet time, music, watching Family Guy, CSI and Survivor
dislikes: Not getting any sleep, being bored, seafood, too much going on at once, messes. I HATE when girls put half naked (or worse) pictures of themselves online. C'mon, have some respect for yourself! Do they REALLY think they're going to get a decent man with those kinds of pictures all over the web? I would think men just look at girls like that, NOT marry them!
Proud Mom 0f: RJ-he's 5, my 2 Shih Tzu girls Bailey and Teddy, and the hermit crabs: 6 C. Clypeatus, 5 C. Compresus, 2 C. Perlatus and 3 C. Rugosus

| It's been a while since I updated. Ryan's home! Only on leave, but it's still nice to be able to spend some time with him aain. He's going back on Thursday, so he's been home for a while which is why I haven't really been updating. | | |
| Good Lord! I think someone next door got a trumpet. It only just started and I'm already sick of hearing wrong notes LOUD! | | |
| So Ryan's been hinting he likes me with curls. Two $25 sets of hot rollers and a $8 curling iron later, my hair still wasn't curly! I went to the salon today to try to find something to put in my hair to make it hold the curl. After a haircut to add some layers so my hair weighs less and 5 different goos to put in my hair (with the grand total for today being $121.91) I think I won the war on my straight hair. I might go get highlights on Thursday. I'm undecided. It'll only cost $59 and I think it would be a cool surprise for Ryan when he comes home. He knows about the curls because I griped about it enough when he called today. Only a little over a week till he comes home on leave. I'm getting nervous! | | |
| Ryan's coming home in a couple of weeks for his 15 days of leave! I'm excited, but already dreading having to say good bye again. Life is good, RJ's behaving and I actually have time to be bored lately. My eliptical is taking forever to come. I ordered it from Sports authority on Jan 26. It was picked up in Kentucky on Jan 27, then for some reason went to Ohio, where it sat for 12 days. It's in Dallas now and will get shipped to Austin on Monday and then finally come to me. I'm thinking maybe Wednesday. The stupid part is it has to come right by me to go from Dallas to Austin. But since it's the only thing I'm stressing over, I have to say life is good!

| So today I cleaned the house (big surprise, huh?) RJ had a therapy appointment and I bought a pair of shoes I've been wanting forever. They're Born. I fell in love with them at Dillards, but they were $95, so I kept putting them back down. Today everyone had finally pushed me enough (including Ryan) that I went and bought them. I'm also still cleaning, I'm just taking a quick break now. Tomorrow RJ has a psychology appointment in the morning, and I get to go to my first therapy appointment at 1:00. I honestly don't think I need it anymore. I haven't even gone to one yet, but with RJ being on meds now, his behavior is tons better and I don't feel like ripping all my hair out anymore. I've had a really good week since his meds started. | | |
